旅遊業監管局是根據《旅遊業條例》（第634章）於2020年1月成立的法定監管機構，主要負責有關旅行代理商、導遊和領隊的發牌和規管事宜。實施《條例》下的新監管制度後，旅監局已從香港旅遊業議會和前旅行代理商註冊處接手規管和發牌的職能。

The Travel Industry Authority was established in January 2020 as a statutory regulatory body under the Travel Industry Ordinance (Chapter 634). It is primarily responsible for the licensing and regulation of travel agents, tour guides, and tour leaders. Following the implementation of the new regulatory system under the Ordinance, the Authority has taken over the regulatory and licensing functions from the Hong Kong Travel Industry Council and the former Travel Agents Registry.

急救技能證書

申請領隊牌照或導遊牌照的人士（包括申請將該等牌照續期的人士），須持有有效的、由旅遊業監管局指明機構發出的急救技能證書或其他類似的證明書。完成以下香港專業護理學會課程及持有有效證書或證明書的人士可被視為已符合該規定：

由以下機構舉辦的「導遊及領隊急救技能證書」課程：

香港專業護理學會（8小時面授課程）

由以下機構舉辦的「導遊及領隊急救技能證書」重溫課程：

香港專業護理學會（4小時面授課程）；及

由勞工處處長認可組織舉辦的急救訓練課程。

此外，在職或離職未滿兩年的醫療專業人員及救護員可申請豁免。

Certificate of competency in first aid

Applicants for a tour escort licence or a tourist guide licence, including those applying for the renewal of the licence, must hold a valid certificate of competency in first aid, or another similar certificate, issued by an institution specified by the Travel Industry Authority. Those who have completed any of the following courses and holding a valid certificate are deemed to have compiled with the said requirement:

organized by:

Hong Kong Society of Professional Medical Care (8 hours face-to-face mode)

Certificate of Competency in First Aid for Tourist Guides & Tour Escorts Refresher Course

organized by:

Hong Kong Society of Professional Medical Care (4 hours face-to-face mode)

In addition, in-service medical professionals and Ambulancemen/Ambulancewomen or those having retired for not more than two years may apply for exemption.

導遊持續專業進修計劃

持牌導遊（包括被視作持牌導遊的原有導遊證持有人）如申請將牌照續期，須已修畢旅監局指明的導遊持續專業進修計劃（導遊進修計劃）。

於導遊進修計劃下，進修活動分為以下三個類別：

A — 知識鞏固及更新（TGA）；

B — 專業操守（TGB）；及

C — 自選進修活動（TGC）（12小時）。

C項課程

以下活動已被認可為旅監局指明的「導遊持續專業進修計劃」及「領隊持續專業進修計劃」下的C項活動；活動時數可同時被計入該兩個計劃的有關進修時段內。

申請將導遊牌照續期的人士須修畢旅監局指明的導遊持續專業進修計劃。以下為該計劃下旅監局認可的導遊持續專業進修活動。欲參與活動的人士應聯絡主辦機構以取得最新活動時間表，及確認條款及細則。若報名人數不足或在其他情況下，主辦機構香港專業護理學會或會取消活動或將活動改期。

Hong Kong Society of Professional Medical Care TIA recognized CPD activities for tour guides' continuing professional education: Travel Industry Authority's Continuing Professional Development Program for Tour Guides and Tour Leaders - Category C Courses

The following activities have been recognized as Category C activities under the Travel Industry Authority's specified "Continuing Professional Development Program for Tour Guides" and "Continuing Professional Development Program for Tour Leaders." The hours for these activities can be counted towards the relevant continuing education periods for both programs.

Below CPD activities are recognized for licensed tourist guides

Those applying for renewal of their tourist guide licence must have completed the Continuing Professional Development Scheme for Tourist Guides specified by TIA. For the purpose of the CPD Scheme for tourist guides, the activities stated below are recognized by TIA. Those intending to enroll into an activity should contact the activity organizers for the latest schedule and ascertain the terms and conditions. Organizers reserve the right to cancel / re-schedule activities because of insufficient enrolment or other reasons.
